Reasons to Memorize Bible Truth

10 -- Memory is a Biblical way to learn. (Psalm 103:1-2)

9 -- Memory helps me to obey God. (Psalm 119:11)

8 -- Memory builds family relationships. (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)

7 -- Memory prepares me to fight Satan. (Matthew 4:1-11; Ephesians 6:10-13,17)

6 -- Memory prepares me to help others. (1 Peter 3:15)

5 -- Memory keeps me from worrying. (Psalm 119:165)

4 -- Memory gives me encouragement. (Romans 15:4)

3 -- Memory shows me that God's joy is stronger than Satan's anger. When I want to give up, this is Satan's doing (1 Peter 5:8). Yet God will bless my desire to grow in Him (Matthew 5:6). He will restore to me the joy of my salvation (Psalm 51:12).

2 -- Memory will help me to endure the weeds of life and bear fruit to God's glory (Galatians 6:9).

1 -- HEAVEN! Memorization by itself won't get me to heaven. But the things I memorize and believe will! The Bible is written that you may have life in Jesus' name through faith (John 20:31).
